Legrain Institutions were founded in 1913 by Henri Legrain, in an old carpentry in Molenbeek. Very quickly, they decided to specialize in wooden shutters and outdoor sun protections. During the interwar period, the sons Joseph and Jean joined their father in the company. \nTo the carpentry workshop, were quickly added a workshop of making fabrics and a ironwork. \nAt the end of the 50s, with Expo 58, the Institutions innovated by launching into the manufacture of interior venetian blinds, with material from the United States. At this time, Joseph was also joined within the company by his eldest son Henri. His younger son, Jean-Marie joined the company a few years later. <\/p>\n<\/div>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

In-house production continued until the end of the 1970s, giving way to the development of a complete set of interior blinds (roller blinds, boats, wood venetian blinds, etc.). At the same time, the ironwork section has developed the production of retractable grilles as well as the production of large metal shutters. \nWith the diversification of products available on the market (models, colors, materials,...), the company had to redefine itself and privileged the relationship with the final customer to the internal production. The Institutions have reduced their production, increased their installation capacity and adapted their staff.\n<\/p>\n<\/div>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

At present, the Legrain institutions still located in Molenbeek, under the direction of Emmanuel and Nathalie as well as Antoine (4th and 5th generation of the Legrain family within the company), continue to produce some very specific products: old-fashioned awnings whose production has never stopped, some models of solar tents, awnings, adaptation parts to meet each situation.<\/p>\n<\/div>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
